The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (APK) participated in the 13th meeting of the Anti-Corruption Network of Law Enforcement Agencies within the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ( OECD ), held in Astana, Kazakhstan from September 6 to 7 2023. APK was represented by Mr. Milot Shala, in this meeting attended by investigators and prosecutors from 25 different countries.
Investigators and Prosecutors at this meeting shared their experience in identifying and investigating high-level corruption, as well as the use of confiscation of illegally acquired assets. Meanwhile, one of the main topics of the meeting was the exchange of practices for financial investigations and the use of civil confiscation instruments.
