Tirana, September 16, 2025 – A delegation from the Kosovo Agency for Prevention of
Corruption (APC), led by Director Yll Buleshkaj, held an institutional meeting in Tirana with
the General Director of the General Anti-Corruption Directorate of Albania (GDA), Mr.
Insidor Rexhepi. The meeting focused on strengthening regional cooperation in the field of
preventing and combating corruption.
During the discussions, both directors emphasized the importance of exchanging
experiences and best practices in developing preventive mechanisms, enhancing integrity,
and institutional transparency. The focus of the discussions was also on strengthening
bilateral capacities and technical expertise.
Director Buleshkaj congratulated Mr. Rexhepi on his new role, expressing the APC’s
commitment to continue close cooperation with its counterpart institution in Albania. This
collaboration aims to establish higher standards of transparency and accountability.
The meeting was also attended by Ms. Silvana Ramadani, Advisor to the Minister of State
for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, who underlined the essential role of
institutional and political coordination in consolidating anti-corruption efforts.
This meeting serves as an important platform for deepening cooperation and coordination
between the two institutions, strengthening joint efforts toward better governance and
greater integrity.
