Agency for Prevention of Corruption (APC) today launched a series of activities marking the 20th anniversary of its establishment, which will continue until 17 July 2026, under the slogan “20 Years of Transparency and Integrity – Strengthening Trust, Preventing Corruption.”
Over the past two decades, the Agency has played a significant role in building and strengthening mechanisms for institutional integrity, transparency, accountability, and corruption prevention in the Republic of Kosovo. The activities taking place throughout this week provide an opportunity to reflect on the achievements made so far while presenting the Agency’s priorities and latest institutional developments.
Agency Week began with public and media appearances by the Director of the Agency, Mr. Yll Buleshkaj, who presented the Agency’s institutional journey, its mandate, the results achieved over the years, and its vision for further advancing the policies and mechanisms for corruption prevention.
As part of the first day’s activities, the Agency also inaugurated the APC Historical Gallery, which, through photographs of its directors over the years and documentary materials, presents the chronological development of the institution from its establishment in 2006 to the present day. The Gallery preserves and promotes the Agency’s institutional memory by highlighting the key milestones and most significant moments in its journey.
In the coming days, Agency Week will continue with public awareness activities in municipalities across the Republic of Kosovo, the launch of the Open Data platform for enhancing transparency of asset declaration data, the presentation of the electronic training module on conflict of interest and ethics, as well as the Central Ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Agency’s establishment.
Agency for Prevention of Corruption remains committed to strengthening institutional integrity, advancing transparency, and developing modern mechanisms for corruption prevention, in close cooperation with national institutions, international partners, citizens, and the media.
