Pristina, January 31, 2025 – At the invitation of the Kosovo Agency for Prevention of Corruption (APC), an official visit was held today by a delegation from the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption of North Macedonia (SCPC).

During the meeting, representatives of both institutions discussed the contents of a Cooperation Memorandum, which will define key areas of inter-institutional coordination. The parties agreed to draft an action plan alongside the memorandum to facilitate experience sharing and the organization of joint activities.

The Kosovo delegation was led by the Director of APC, Mr. Yll Buleshkaj, while the North Macedonian delegation was headed by the Chair of SCPC, Ms. Tatjana Dimitrovska. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional integrity and transparency mechanisms.

“This memorandum will serve as a solid foundation for the exchange of experiences and the development of more effective mechanisms for preventing corruption. Regional cooperation is essential for addressing shared challenges in this field,” stated APC Director, Yll Buleshkaj.

For her part, SCPC Chair, Ms. Tatjana Dimitrovska, emphasized the significance of this cooperation, stating: “Strengthening ties between our institutions will enable us to implement best practices and develop more effective strategies for preventing corruption.”

The planned memorandum will include concrete initiatives within the scope of both institutions and is expected to be signed in March 2025. The Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency and the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption of North Macedonia (SCPC) remain committed to advancing regional cooperation and strengthening public integrity.
