The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption of Kosovo (APK) has launched the mentoring program for the verification of the wealth of public officials with an expert from the Council of Europe. The program was launched in the presence of the Minister of Justice ( Ministry of Justice ), Mrs. Albulena Haxhiu, Mr. Fahret Vellija, member of the Judicial Council of Kosovo , representatives of the Council of Europe Office in Pristina and the European Union in Kosovo .

The mentoring program will offer the APK staff the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the best European practices in the verification of assets declared by Kosovo state officials.

“Wealth declaration and verification is a key tool in corruption prevention efforts. This program will help our staff develop the skills and knowledge they need to more effectively investigate potential violations and thus serve them better. good for the people of Kosovo.” said director Yll Buleshkaj.

The mentoring program is carried out with the support of the Project against Economic Crime (PECK III) and is part of a cooperation initiative of the European Union (EU) and the Council of Europe financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the latter.
