Today, November 19, 2024, Ambassador Aivo Orav, Head of the EU Office in Kosovo and EU Special Representative, met with Mr. Yll Buleshkaj, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA).
During this introductory meeting, Ambassador Orav reaffirmed the EU’s strong support for ACA’s work and highlighted the importance of their strategic partnership in combating corruption. Director Buleshkaj presented the Agency’s achievements and challenges, emphasizing the need for additional financial and human resources.
The EU delegation included Ambassador Orav, Jarmo Helppikangas (Head of the Rule of Law, Legal Affairs, and Human Rights Section), Argjend Zhubin (Legal Advisor), and Massimiliano Prozzo (Task Manager).
The ACA thanks the EU Office for its continued support and remains committed to enhancing transparency and institutional integrity.
