PRISHTINA, 28 March 2008 – Kosovo Anti Corruption Agency attended the two day Roundtable on dates 26 to 27 March 2008 organized by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg – France. The meeting was attended by these ACA senior officials:
Mr. Hasan Preteni – Director of ACA, and senior officials of the Agency.
As part of the delegation of Kosovo as experts were the Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Judiciary and the Legislation Mr. Bahri Hyseni, Director of Legal Office of the MPS Mr. Besim Kajtazi, and Director of the Office for Good Governance in OPM Mr. Habit Hajredini. Also, there attended the Council of Europe experts, Mr. Drago Kos from Slovenia and Mr. Quentin Reed of Great Britain.
After these two days of professional discussions, there were also taken several recommendations on strengthening the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency and other mechanisms to deal with fighting and preventing corruption and completing the necessary legal framework to strengthen these mechanisms.
