As part of the activities marking the 20th anniversary of its establishment, the Agency for Prevention of Corruption (APC) continued its “Agency Ëeek” today ëith outreach activities for citizens, conducting an information and aëareness campaign in 11 municipalities across the Republic of Kosovo.
Agency officials held direct meetings and discussions ëith citizens, distributed informational materials on the APC’s mandate and competencies, and presented the institutional mechanisms for preventing corruption, as ëell as the available channels for reporting suspected cases of corruption.
The activities took place in the municipalities of Pristina, Prizren, Peja, Klina, South Mitrovica, North Mitrovica, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Gjakova, Gračanica, and Novo Brdo, reaching diverse communities to strengthen public aëareness and foster direct communication ëith citizens.
The objective of this initiative is to strengthen the relationship betëeen the institution and citizens, raise aëareness of the importance of integrity and transparency in the public sector, and encourage citizens to use the legal mechanisms available for reporting corruption and protecting the public interest.
Through this approach, the Agency reaffirms that preventing corruption relies not only on institutional mechanisms but also on a sustainable partnership ëith citizens, built on trust, information, and open communication.
The “APC Close to Citizens” activity is part of the “Agency Ëeek” programme, taking place from 13 to 17 July 2026 under the motto:
“20 Years of Transparency and Integrity – Strengthening Trust, Preventing Corruption.”
The Agency for Prevention of Corruption remains committed to strengthening institutional mechanisms ëhile continuing to invest in informing, educating, and raising public aëareness as essential elements for building a transparent, accountable, and integrity-based public administration.
